The fourth STEP project partners meeting took place in Klaipeda, Lithuania on 10-13 of September 2019. Partners presented status of the project work packages, evaluated project activities as well as coordinated future actions for successful project implementation. As well other South Baltic project representatives as “Morpheus”, “Less is More” joined the discussion on common issues. The BSR Program project “BEST“ related to the wastewater treatment issues has been presented as well.
Klaipeda University organized following study visits for the partners:
- to AB “Klaipedos vanduo” (water supply and wastewater treatment company) wastewater treatment plant. Partner discussed on site about the treatment issues.
- to Airplus1 company, where ozonation technologies were presented.
- to Curonian Spit water management system.
- to Klaipeda University Marine and Research institute laboratories.
